Ten shots were heard, according to the BBC. This man purportedly posed such a threat that it warranted him being pinned to the ground and shot ten times to ensure everyone’s safety. Or a group of murderous thugs executed - no, slaughtered - someone they didn’t like for whatever reason.

Assuming they even go ahead, I'm sure Trump would love to find a reason to try and force them to be cancelled.

And even if they go ahead, polling stations are going to be an absolute prime target for ICE to harass people so the voting will be interfered with.

The chap they shot was an ICU nurse for veterans, native US citizen. People need to wake up to the fact that this is not about immigration, it's a chance for fascist Republicans to murder democrats because they don't like them. They see their own countrymen as enemies to be removed. They don't want democracy anymore.

He adds that the Second Amendment right to bear arms "don't count when you riot... and disrupt law enforcement".

While it's been abundantly clear that the US gun nuts don't actually care about what the second amendment was created for; to allow citizens to stop a tyrannical government, because, well, they currently have a tyrannical government and there aren't any armed militias stopping it. But the comments on the second amendment not counting in any situation should have them frothing at the mouth. The NRA should be protesting it.

But they won't, because all they actually want is to be able to own guns and shoot people they don't like.
