No, that's perfect!

Now roll a d8

BLAM! Thud.

Cumflutter fires the hunting rifle straight into the door and you hear the sound of the dead body dropping down on the other side.

"Shit!" yells a voice on the other side of the door.

"Don't shoot no more! I surrender!"

Just at this exact moment, the double doors in the centre of the hallway's southern wall come flying open, and through come rushing three scruffy-looking men with rusty revolvers.

They stop in surprise when they see Cadaver Kid, Roach and Cumflutter blocking their way out of the building.

"Holy smokes it's the Sheriff's men!"

Guns are raised.

But your side has the initiative!

Roach, Cadaver Kid and Cumflutter...you may act!

Amazing! You gain an Ace!

The three scruffy men look at Parcheval, then they look at each other, then they look back at you, then they drop their rusty revolvers and they also drop rusty razor-blades that they seemed to be carrying, and put their hands above their heads, looking rather forlorn.

Cumflutter dumps the empty brass out and swiftly reloads. He looks at the rifle with surprise mutters a simple "Fuck..."

Remind me what that means.

Meanwhile, Roach says to the Cadaver Kid.

"Any of these boys the men we're looking for?"

Doc cautiously approaches the chimney once again, hearing everything below go quiet.

"Anyone alive down there?" he asks querelously.

Aces allow you to re-roll any dice. You now have three.

There is only silence.
