Trump: Impeach is the new Orange
Re: Trump: Impeach is the new Orange
Oh, it's over here, just in a more subtle way. Thiel is infecting areas of governance as we speak, and his Palantir is getting its hands on our NHS data, and for a pittance. Thiel of Paypal, Facebook, Cambridge Analytica fame, pumping money into many swing-state trumpist republican campaigns over there and sponsoring the ERG/Federalist MP's over here, including mine, Mr Hardman of Brexit and "I'm a born-again Christian" Steve mother-fucking Baker himself.

I agree with the whole "it seems very conspiracy-theorist" to me angle, I thought that myself, and didn't have a clue about American politics until covid started, and the consequences of "The Donald" really became evident, and the prospect of his re-election had me digging deeper into things. The biggest qualifiers for me when sifting through this are: intent, and veracity of facts.
It became very clear that a lot of right-wing activity is focused on key "left" commentators and when they get close to the mark they get increasingly focused attacks and demonisation attempts on them. When you look for the facts behind their oppositions: such as anti-vax, anti-covid, anti-antifa/BLM, MAGA, election fraud, stop-the-steal etc. etc. their justifications are rarely backed up with sources, or the sources evaporate when they are tested by accountability such as via the legal system, and you see a massive concerted op driven mainly by Russia's desire for misinformation and chaos in the West, and the Right (and far-left) motivations for the same. There is an active psy-op led by Gen. Michael Flynn and his cohorts. It is organised, and brutal in its focus. It has entities that pose as left/centrist leaning but act as gatekeepers to steer the focus away from the main op.
Case in point: yesterday's ruling, a sudden inactive "troll" population mobilised, signalling "prepare for violence amidst pro-abortion protests", known activist accounts such as Posobiec, Andy Ngo, and Cernovich, amplifying the anti-trans, anti-abortion, anti-antifa messages. Edward Snowden woke from his coma and started posting from Russia, and low and behold, out of the darkness Q is reactivated again. They want a "left-Jan6th" to deflect from the enlightenment from the Jan6th hearings re the right-wing involvement in the elections and insurrection attempt.

It kills me that a handful of fucking bastards are literally ruining it for everyone else. Roll out the guillotines.
Re: Trump: Impeach is the new Orange
Follow the money. It is all about the money. Those with masses of it want a subjugated, uneducated, emasculated population they can suck even more of it out of. It really is that simple.

The land of opportunity indeed.

Big hearing today. The committee has broken the July 4th recess and will re-convene a special meeting at 5 pm this evening (1 pm ET). They are keeping the witness quiet, and there is massive security to protect them. This is unusual and will be VERY important...

You mean the guy who gently tapped him on the back and was charged with assault?

I've no memory of who Meadow's is but apparently he was Trump's chief of staff.

Seems that Cassidy Hutchinson was going to testify at one of the planned hearings but they've moved her forward due to security concerns, which suggests she has some spicy meatballs to dish out. Also when she was deposed, it was apparently under the representation of a Trump-approved lawyer who has since been fired, and now she is much wore willing/able to provide information.

Plenty of theories, but no evidence...

Today's hearing: testimony that Trump very well did say about Pence "let him hang"...also, evidence that tweedledumb and tweedledumber plotted toward stopping Election Certification...maybe...it is going to be juicy.
The committee met in a SCIF this morning...something big is coming.

A few underlings might get fined and suspended sentences but I doubt much else. Next time Republicans take power everyone gets a pardon and then the real inquisition starts.
Re: Trump: Impeach is the new Orange
Regardless of anything else that comes out of this, I'm going to take away the revelation that Trump habitually launched his food at the wall or flipped tables in a rage.

Heinz 45 varieties!
That was explosive. We haven't heard half of it yet either. They have paced the Roger Stone and Mike Flynn involvement just right throughout these hearings, considering they pled the fifth, they have been keeping them on a rolling boil perfectly.
Trump is guilty of all sorts. RICO for a start. Man, that was something.

This nugget struck me as the best hope for making him radioactive to the Republican party in the next election:
Nearly 18 months later I'm still letting that sink in, and these hearings have only made it more astounding. It was one thing to see the news at the time and watch as Trump flailed against reality like the petulant child he is, but to see the facts presented and recalled by witnesses, with documentary evidence highlighting the extents to which Trump tried to destroy democracy in the self-proclaimed greatest democracy on Earth... It's simultaneously popcorn-viewing and yet deeply disturbing.
"They're not here to hurt me" clearly implies he expected them to hurt other people. And he explicitly refers to them as his people. The President encouraged an armed mob that he endorsed and acknowledged were armed and intent on causing violence (and were chanting for the summary execution of the Vice President) to march on the Capitol for the purpose of reversing the results of a free and fair election - an election that had been rigorously affirmed to be legitimate by everyone but Donald Trump and Santa Claus at that point. She spoke of how White House officials were warned of the potential for violence. And, in perhaps the most damning testimony so far, she said Donald Trump personally knew that members of the crowd at his morning rally near the White House were armed because they were being turned away by Secret Service officers - and directed them to the Capitol anyway.
"I don't [expletive] care that they have weapons. They're not here to hurt me," Ms Hutchinson said she heard the president say. "Let my people in. They can march to the Capitol from here."

Re: Trump: Impeach is the new Orange
Drumpf said to let them through, AR-15's or whatever they were carrying - let them through the Mags - his crowd needed to be bigger, they were not going to hurt him. The amount of evidence being portrayed for how badly that day could have gone more fucked up than it already became, its mind-blowing. They were targeting AOC, they wanted Pence and Pelosi the fact a tv personality got as far as he did even with aspects going completely sideways.
Drumpf wanted to be there ignoring his secret serviceers as it went down in person, at the exact moment America fell on live tv as his autocratic plan reached its ultimate illegal climax. All because he lost a valid fucking election.
Building the future, and keeping the past alive - are one and the same thing.
