Celebs are still dropping off....
Re: Celebs are still dropping off....
It's a very long time since I've watched any Eastenders (like 20 years or so; my mum used to have it on when we ate dinner), but the woman was an institution even back then.

A man who could tell more truth and eat fewer pies.
Re: Celebs are still dropping off....
I always loved how good natured he was about people using his voice to purposely annoy. Last Week Tonight with John Oliver used to replace any video footage of the House of Commons in their UK broadcasts with a clip of him reading something truly awful (erotic fiction and the like), as you're not allowed to show the HoC footage within the UK for the purposes of comedy, a concept so ridiculous that it was worthy of mockery.
I know it was his whole act, but it's sorta funny being known for having one of the world's most annoying voices.

He'll always be Iago the parrot from Aladdin to me.

That's certainly where I originally knew him from too.

Legend.

I'm not as big a fan of Blade Runner as some, but the soundtrack was one of the best parts, and had a significant part in the creation of one of my favourite music genres. To be honest I'm not sure I expected the guy to be so young; Blade Runner is 40 years old this year.

It's funny, despite how much of my life I've (arguably) wasted on the designs of Star Wars in my life (from the X-Wing games of the 90s to, well, to the X-Wing game of the 2010s that I play once a week), I don't think I realised that Ralph McQuarrie wasn't the one that came up with the original concepts for some of the most iconic designs. I shall pour one out for Cantwell tomorrow when my friend inevitably shoots down all of my TIE Interceptors after I smash them into asteroids by accident.

Gutted to read that yesterday, absolutely love Goodfellas, probably my favourite gangster movie of them all.
