Yup, no worries. I'll get my D&D fix this week because Larian Studios just did another two hour panel on BG3 :P

I think I'm ready to don the DM cape again this week - should be free Tuesday or Wednesday. I've got plans on Thursday, but there's a small chance I'll be available in the event that the plans fall through.

Sounds good, any day should be fine for me.

Great, I look forward to rigorously exploring every nook and cranny of Waterdeep to find all the secrets, with long involved and fully fleshed-out backstories, that no doubt await :D

You assume Waterdeep will still be there when you arrive!

(It is. It's fine.)

I'll be on but I'm running late with basically everything today so I may be munching in the background at the start of the session.

Have to say, I was immensely gratified when my dragon gambit paid off last night. Plus I find amusing the thought that from now on every conversation with an NPC is apparently going to begin with the semi-question, semi-accusation "Are you a dragon?!"

I was looking for any way for her to plausibly deny being a dragon without outright lying, but ultimately it was such a blunt-force direct question that I decided her honest nature won out.

Bear in mind that if you do stumble across an evil dragon in humanoid form and demand to know whether they're a dragon, there could be a sudden and violent answer to that!

Is there any way I could ever attune to that staff without having to take a level in wizard? I've never multi classed before but I know another DM who doesn't allow it unless there are very specific story reasons, usually with some lengthy quest attached. Whenever I've read about it online it seems that a lot of players like to do it purely for the sake of min/maxing their character stats or damage which isn't really my thing in D&D.
