The Orc Warlord attacks Terence. He hits him with his sword and deals 1 Wound.

Spoiler

If there's no objections, I'll attack straight away.

It's possible Bellis might choose to close the gap and attack with melee this time, depends if Gibnar is partially blocking him.

Even if Gibnar is partially blocking the Warlord, Bellis has a bow with a range of 36 squares and exceptional skill in archery.

Roll 1d6 please, Terence!

Oh, you killed him.

You guys rake in: 110 Gold Coins.

Now, who's going to open that Chest?

Wise choice. You have the most wounds. The rest of us will stay at the other end of the room.

You find 200 Gold Coins in the chest.

Now, normally, you would attempt to leave the dungeon the same way you came in, and we'd play it all over a series of Exploration Turns. However, I'm the sort of person Trump would Tweet about, calling me very "low energy (sad!)" and I am definitely getting low on energy. So, I'm going to pretend this was like a freeware/demo/introduction/tutorial session of AHQ and declare the Quest ended right here. We assume you brought the Halfling safely back to the Baron's castle.

Now you must do the following:

1. Recover all your lost Wounds and Fate Points (I think it's only Terence who lost 1 Fate and 1 Wound).
2. Divide the treasure equally (77 Gold Each -- that leaves 2 Gold spare)
3. Pay your costs of living (20 Gold Each)

Then, a RANDOM EVENT happens! I roll 2d12 against a RANDOM EVENT TABLE. The result was 15, which means a member of the party RETIRES. Now, this would normally be a henchman, but since you don't have any henchmen and Maturin's about to take over as GM, let's have it so that Terence retires, shall we? ¬_¬

And now it's time to actually spend that money. You don't have much yet, but that's because we had a tiny, tiny Quest with very little opportunity to find wealth, and I've not decided how much the Baron should pay you as a reward for rescuing his precious Halfling Cook. As Maturin is taking over now, I will let him decide how much the Baron pays you, and I am now officially handing the game over to him.

When you do come to buy new stuff for your heroes, the Costs table is here:

I hope you enjoyed this brief taster of Advanced Hero Quest. Now I'm going to collapse in a corner somewhere.
