I was expecting the updated remastered footage to kick in, but alas it never came.

It’s being done by Nightdive who are also working on the Blade Runner remaster if that's any consolation.

Yeah I was expecting a sudden change in the graphics. Underwhelming to say the least.

Another game I doubt anyone gives a shit about getting remaster

I guess that's the problem with these lavish remakes that things like RE2 and 3 have received; they make all of the fairly lazy "remasters" with a boost to resolution and maybe an interface rework look like cash grabs.

I loved Shadowman back in the N64 days so I was quite excited when I saw the trailer pop up. That all changed once I clicked play. From diamond cutter to flaccid in 2 secs flat.

Like Raid says if you don't go back and do it right you should probably never go back.

I think they have their place, particularly when a game from older hardware simply won't run on modern kit.

Shadowman however, can still be bought on Steam, and barely looks any worse.

Was expecting something like the System Shock in improvments. I have the game on Steam and GOG versions already so really no point in getting this.
