I am more concerned by the complete lack of comment from the GOP. Nothing from McConnell or any of the white Republican senators.
Savour instead the assessments made by ex-USMC Commandant Neller and ex-DefenceSec James Mattis. You know you've fucked up when career marines are caused to make comment.

The police statement regards this incident is that he "tripped and fell". You have to be mentally ill to hit or push an old person. Seriously, assholery aside, this is a sign of the mentally disturbed. No amount of monthly payroll is worth this.

The army guys were the only ones who actually cared. Personally I think the army should come now..........against the police. That will shut them. But that would be a coup.

Hopefully the end goal of all of this it will galvanise the youth vote in November. That is.......if there is going to be a vote ! I am beginning to fear Bill Maher has been right all along.

I actually think this is the beginning of the end of America as we know it.

I don’t understand the mindset of the police in many of these videos. If he’d pulled a gun on them and cut his head when they knocked him to the floor, I’d still expect them to stop and tend to his injury. He was no threat to them and he was hurt - because of them. I can’t fathom why they walked on.

Jesus, that is fucking brutal. If he dies from that head injury then that cop and his superior have committed manslaughter at the very least.

So the police are under serious scrutiny for murdering an unarmed man via a brutal choke hold. In Britain that would likely lead to an immediate response by higher-ups telling their officers to be fucking careful with their public image. In America it means unarmed elderly men are shoved to the ground sustaining major head trauma. You don't immediately bleed from your ears for light injuries. Just what the fuck America. I was going to ask how this situation came to be... then I remembered I watched a story on Last Week Tonight that sorta explains it six years ago.

When Trump was talking about bringing in the armed forces to deal with rioters I thought this was a stupid idea that would get people killed. At this point I'm beginning to think that the army, having served for years in Afghanistan and Iraq, attempting to win hearts and minds, will be more gentle than the fucking police.

There's a fair share of Trump supporters claiming that the old man video is a stunt and that he had a fake blood pack on the back of his head. When there is that much cognitive dissonance you will never be able to talk sense to those people.

He has literally convinced some people that everything they see on television and news is fake.

That point about the army being more capable than the police is actually true I think. They receive proper training on how to defuse situations while cops use a training method that assumes everyone is a threat.

And that's the story of why I'm not allowed near pregnant women for the next few weeks.

"Hopefully George is looking down right now and saying, 'This is a great thing that's happening for our country. It's a great day for him, it's a great day for everybody. It's a great day for everybody. This is a great, great day."
It's a great day for him. It's a great day for the man who was murdered by police for allegedly possesssing a fake banknote.

You know that AI that Microsoft stuck online that the Internet trained to be incredibly racist? Is... is that running the US now? Trump's communication has a distinctly chatbot-esque stream of consciousness style to it, and he is incredibly racist. I think it fits.

Forget America, I'm ashamed to be on the same planet as Trump.

I'm honestly speechless. Just when you think he has hit rock-bottom, he finds another level of shit to wade around in.

That is someone completely detached from reality, he has to be having a mental breakdown. The world is burning around you and say shit like that! Do the dipshits surrounding him on that podium have any forewarning of what he's going to say?

The videos of the brutality and vicious attacks on unarmed protesters, many of which are often not even doing anything, only seem to be growing and growing.

America is fundamentally broken. I hope this brings their entire system down.
