I'm easy either way to be honest, things are a little trickier on a Wednesday here anyway as our eldest has brownies in the evening and the bedtime routine happens a bit later. I'd be able to avoid the spousal death-glare if we held back to next week, but it's not impossible either.

I'll leave the casting vote to Raid as we're all happy with either decision.

Tell you what - let's postpone until next week. I think I may have broken the lighting on the current map so that nobody can currently see anything, so that'll need fixing. #-o

When it's working, it should work so that you guys have proper, dynamic vision based on where your characters are rather than me having to manually reveal maps as you go round them. Plus lighting effects for added drama. I think there's a way to get it to show places you've already explored too, rather than just where you currently are.

I'm actually pretty ill myself, and was tempted to sit this one out.

I think it was not meant to be this week. Hope you and Mantis feel better soon!

In better news, check out this dynamically-lit beauty:

The only reliable way I could find to retain sight of areas you'd already explored was to drop invisible light sources in them, hence the slightly odd light cones and splotches around the map, but I think it's a reasonable compromise. There's a new advanced fog of war feature that's meant to do that automatically, only it doesn't seem to work properly, so I'll stick with my method for now. It looks really cool as you move around new areas.

This week I can do any day except Tuesday, and Wednesday I’d rather avoid if possible.

With that in mind Thursday would work best for me, but Monday would be ok if push comes to shove.

Yep!

It's been a hell of a week, so apologies in advance if my brain fails at any point.

Having also had a hell of a week (so far), I'm not sure I'd notice. Yes, I'll be there at 8.

Hey gents, just wondering how my little fella Truss is getting on. Is he behaving himself or wallowing neck deep in the blood and steaming entrails of his enemies? He's a good lad really but can be a tad rambunctious.

He's doing well, got knocked out tonight in a boss fight but we got him back up on his feet :)
