Post by Achtung Englander » Wed Feb 21, 2024 7:52 pm

Hi guys - its been sometime since I was on here. Its good to be back

Quick question I need to do an audit of the best shops to buy game peripherals / accessories. Here is my list below, am I missing any retailers you can recommend?

Amazon
ShopTo
Dixons
Very
Smyths Toys
Argos

ego.direct

Thanks for the help.

Dixons no longer exists.
You could add Simply Games to the list.

I've bought a few flight sim accessories from Currys in recent years - they've got a suprisingly decent (if mainstream) range online.

I still own an original Mark - and they are fatally flawed. The mouse has to be held completely flat to the surface you are using as a mat at all times, the slightest angling of it lifts the ball off the surface and your mouse-movement promtly ceases. I had a mate who worked for Thrustmaster and they were given some to test - one came my way and lives, barely used, in a drawer somewhere.

I always thought those things looked awful to use. Never tried one myself, and I suspect I won't any time soon at that price.
