Canary'd this one, to play on both the PC and Steam Deck. Plays perfectly out of the box for me and looks the business.
It is an open world game with many of the staples of an open world game, Ubi map spam etc. But then it makes you Spider Man, flipping and swooping around as you web-sling around the streets of NYC. The visuals and animation on Spidey are so nice, and the feel of the web-slinging is just awesome. Combat is decent too, with lots of interaction with scenery items and a cool combat system. A good well acted story (that for once takes the origin story as read), including a cameo by the late, great Stan Lee rounds it all off.
Well worth a punt, and works a treat on the Deck although I had to switch off the accelerometers as they meant the screen moved as a result of my inputs, which was quite offputting.

I already have this on PS4 (which I never switch on).
As soon as it comes down in price I'm in.
