CY_BORG: VIP Abduction
Re: CY_BORG: VIP Abduction
I’ll attempt a heat scan of the warehouse interior.

Zola will open up a comm link with the rest of the goons.
"Yo this place is busy, some suits next door pushin' papers. We gotta keep this on the down low, keep it to ya knives if ya gotta send someone to the great server in the sky!"
He will then return to the taxi to try and keep a low profile while the others do their thing.

Is there anything security wise on the roof? Volley might take his drone suit for a spin...

There's the active auto-turret I mentioned...Animalmother wrote: ↑Fri Oct 31, 2025 12:05 pmIs there anything security wise on the roof? Volley might take his drone suit for a spin...

Volley spends several minutes assembling his drone suit, humming the theme to an old action tv show. After being told about the turret, he quietly disassembles the suit and sits in the back of the cab pouting.

Re: CY_BORG: VIP Abduction
The turret is watching the bridge. You could stealthily fly up behind it and chuck an EMP grenade or two on it, if you're keen to deploy your gear?

I will award you a bonus Glitch for that Nat. 20.
Standby while I draw up a new map of the warehouse interior and write a description of what happens (it's a Friday so I'm less 'around' than Tues-Thurs).

Volley gives an world weary sigh and then starts setting up his drone suit with great enthusiasm. He hangs the EMP grenades on his belt and waits for the Go command!

Re: CY_BORG: VIP Abduction
After taking note of the auto-turret, Doze's spy-bot cruises over the roof of the warehouse, when she spots an air-vent leading inside. Her tiny drone easily fits through one of the holes in the vent, and is able to get a good look around the warehouse interior.
It's a large open space, with an elevated steel walkway encircling three sides of it, about half way up the side of the building. A stair-case in the north-west corner leads up to it, and appears the only access from the ground level. She also sees a door on the south wall of this, which obviously leads across the bridge, beneath the watcheye eye of the roof-mounted auto-turret, and over to the second floor of the office block to the south.
The warehouse is piled with crates of various sizes, and four tough-looking gangers sit around one of the crates, playing a game of cards upon it. They're all wearing biker jackets made from green-dyed leather, and on their backs are stitched the unmistakable double-V symbol (formed into the shape of a pair of snake-fangs) of the VIRID VIPERS — South Cy's largest mob, and the biggest player in the city’s drug trade. Each one has a machete hanging from his belt, and a shotgun leaning against the makeshift card table.
Here then, is the first evidence of VV presence on the site. Lorne wasn't wrong about that. But there's no sign of a drug lab here.

I didn't realise that IR vision goggles don't see through walls until yesterday, so I'm going to rule that this doesn't work. Sorry!
