The rhetoric coming from Trump, Noem and Vance on the ICE shooting has been utterly disgusting, honestly some of the worst shit I've heard coming from their face sphincters. The shooting isn't even remotely surprising, frankly at this point I'm surprised it's not happening two or three times a week, but to hear them declare the victim a domestic terrorist within minutes of it happening is... well that's not even remotely surprising either, but it doesn't make it any less offensive. "Lucky to be alive" Trump says of the ICE agent, who put three rounds through the window of a woman whose car tyres are blatantly pointed in a direction to take her away from him, only for him to casually put his pistol back in its holster two seconds later and slowly walk towards her crash - that is not what someone who just saw their life flash before their eyes does, is it?
At this point I'm really not sure what the difference between ICE and Hitler's brownshirts is. I swear these thugs are going to be lining the entranceways to Trump rallies and smashing the windows of shops owned by immigrants next.

I really don't think there's much more to say on this particular incident. I'm sure it'll be analysed to hell, and there'll be wars of words on both sides, but I think it's pretty clear that it's a man executing a person he didn't like because he's been empowered to do so.
Perhaps he did fear for his life, I don't think that's impossible to believe, but if he did it was because he hasn't been bloody trained correctly. You don't walk into a tense situation, one where there's a chance you'll need to pull your pistol out of its holster, with a mobile phone in your hands. You don't stand two feet away from a car if you think that car would be used as a weapon. You don't fire your weapon three times, if two seconds later you're re-holstering it calmly and walking over to your target without it drawn. The only tension in that situation is of his own making, and my guess would be that he was looking for an excuse. The actions this man (I really don't like to call these people agents, as that denotes someone competent) takes are those of someone that's very good with a handgun, that's undoubtedly been using them for years, not a member of law enforcement. Honestly if this action weren't completely abhorent, the fact that he draws his weapon and puts three rounds in his target in a split second would be impressive, and I am absolutely certain he'll have boasted about it to someone. This really feels like the abilities of a firearms hobbyist, someone that enjoys using guns, not someone who sees their use as a responsibility and a last resort.
As ever, the responsibility lies with the leadership, the people putting these thugs in positions of responsibility, and those regurgitating the rhetoric that's deliberately pitting one group of citizens against another, rather than trying to restore calm. This man won't be prosecuted, hell his name hasn't even been released as far as I can tell so there's clearly not going to be any attempt to examine culpability. It's just another data point, and that in and of itself is, and should be, absolutely shocking. It'll happen again.

They know exactly who he is. It's very telling from that video how we hear either him or another agent call the victim a "Fucking bitch" just after the shoots are fired. He got upset at being yelled at so shoot her in the face. Utter fucking scum.
So he's been identified, but his name hasn't been confirmed by the people responsible for his conduct, the ones that should be putting him in front of judges. That's what I was getting at. That said, I didn't know about his history, which sorta rubbishes all of that analysis in my previous post. Does sorta just make him look like a straight-up murderer, doesn't it.

I'm not sure about it reducing the impact of them so much as that when the internet is being flooded with AI-made child pornography images it would be very easy for those pictured in Epstein photos to turn around and simply claim that any further leaked images are obviously fake.
