I can use it to keep up the facade with our mark while we wait to spring our trap.

How about we place an ad (someone else could do it, seems that's another good idea) in about 30 minutes, so an hour before our intended mark's arrival? If/when someone answers the ad we could also suggest a future time for them to arrive if we feel like it would be cutting things fine.

How obviously out-of-service is this mech? As in, could we position it so that it might fool someone into thinking it was in working order at a glance? I'm wondering if we could use it as intimidation when the limo arrives to persuade them to cooperate.

It's completely dismantled. It's a mech 'kit', as it were, fully unassembled, packaged into crates.

Back to the original plan of looking lean and mean, then.

I don't think "we've got a mech in these crates and we're not afraid to repair and assemble it over the next few days" is going to cut it.

If it were to be fully assembled, it would be a deadly asset indeed. It's proper top-end military-grade hardware.

Cluster grenade launchers on the top. Rocket launchers on the shoulders. M.A.R.A.U.D.E.R. cannons on the arms. Laser-gun on the head.



The fact the Vipers have one stashed in a slum warehouse like this is highly irregular and disturbing.

We should at least grab its control board so thats its useless without it. We can sell it back to whoever eventually takes the mech.

So, your team 'techxpert', Doze, has already assessed the mech and ascertained that the only part you can extract from it in the time permitted is the cluster grenade launcher.

Volley would like to booby trap the mech using one of his grenades and a piece of string he just found. There is no purpose in this and he'll never see the results but it's an itch that needs scratching.
