Is it though? It was a mess when it came out in Earl Access last year so I don't think it is a major surprise that it's still a mess once it came out properly.

Disappointing in the sense that in it's E3 debut it showed a great deal of promise. Like you say though it was a bag of shite in early access, but when Microsoft announced they would help them realise that early promise at E3 this year I was hopeful. Obviously they then announced a release date so soon afterwards that it would have been optimistic in the extreme to think MS could've done anything to turn it around.

So maybe disappointing is the wrong descriptor, it's more of a wasted opportunity. It could've been great but it's not. Shame.
