Clip Studio Paint is a fantastic piece of software. The brush engine in it feels a bit more advanced than Photoshop to me and they're gradually adding more other tools to bring it up to the same feature set. Finally getting liquify with the last update was a very nice addition.
This confused me as I've been looking forward to the liquify tool for ages. What I didn't realise is that CSP doesn't update itself (I've only been using it for a few months). As far as I can tell there's not even a manual update function in the software or launcher. Going to download entirely new versions from a website feels like it's the early 2000s again.

Yeah it is a bit of a pain having to do a fresh install over the top every time but not too taxing as I get email updates when there's a new version out and installing it over the top of the previous version has never caused any issues so far. I'd be gutted if I lost all my custom brushes if something went wrong.
I didn't realise there were so many aspiring artists on the forum. I may make an art thread to discuss our progress and learning sources further.
(When you update to the latest version I believe that the liquify tool is under the blending subtool if you still can't find it. Been a while since I used it though so I might be wrong as I decided to go back to pencil and paper for a bit whilst I learnt more anatomy.)

Anyone after a Series X? Seen them in stock and ordered one for a friend who also managed to order one so he doesnt need it. Brand new, unopened, Β£455 (rrp with an extra fiver to cover postage
).
I can just return it no probs but I figured its the gentlemanly thing to ask if anyone's in need.

I almost bought that pack because "such value!" before realising I own almost everything except Bioshock. That diminishes the value a bit
Might as well fire up the spares I have accrued over the years....
Starting with the one you'll fight over, but first come first served.....
