Cool, so Gamrolin I take it you will be the one to smite the Skaven? Or would you like your henchman to attack diagonally?

I will do it! With my axe!

I roll 1d12 to hit with a result of 7.

Re-rolled the 12 and got a 4.

You literally tear the Skaven warrior in two with your Great Axe, showering yourself in blood in the process. Its remains lie all over the throne room.

Would you like to move yourself or your henchman?

I triumphantly flex my muscles before swaggering into the throne room to survey my work.

I send my henchman south to join the others. I am not sure where everyone is right now -- could I request a map update?

I will move MYSELF down to the doorway below, standing right to the north of Bellis (instead of entering the throne room). I will lend my mighty arms to attack diagonally through the doorway in case Bellis isn't able to kill those guys by himself. My henchman will stay put, to remind me that I want to return to the throne room to search it for treasure.

So, the southern most Skaven warrior screams and moves towards the henchman and stabs with his blade.

Roll(1d12)+0:
8,+0
Total:8

He hits! (At last...)

He now rolls 3 damage dice..

Roll(3d12)+0:
7,6,10,+0
Total:23

Taking away 1 wound from Bellis' Man-at-Arms

The next warrior moves in on Bellis himself...

Roll(1d12)+0:
10,+0
Total:10

It's another hit!

Roll(3d12)+0:
12,1,2,+0
Total:15

A critical wound, but the reroll does nothing.

So Bellis, you can choose this moment to use one of your Fate points if you so wish, to cancel the single wound?

I'll be heading out soon (on a rather tedious trip to buy new school uniforms for the start of term next week), so just to say that on my turn, assuming there's no difference between targeting those two frontline skaven I'll fire off a shot at the one in front of Bellis' henchman.

While we're waiting to hear from Mantis if you let me know what to roll for that I can do that now and not delay the game too much.

Now wait a minute. You can't fire from where you are at that target. You have to be standing behind a friend to shoot over them.

Actually mate, you would need to move up directly behind one of them to be able to shoot past, which means you would have to wait for the following turn to shoot.

It's okay, I'm happy to wait till later before resuming the next combat turn if there's things people need to do. I've got a couple of bits to do myself anyway.

Ok, I'll spend my move sidling up behind Bellis for this turn. So feel free to go through the rest of the turn until it comes back to me again.
