Not sure how frequently, but they do have sales as I got mine on discount.

we are getting closer to Black Friday / Boxing Day

Shall I wait out to the sales to buy from Secret Lab - do they do sales ?

Looking to get this https://secretlab.co.uk/collections/omega-series
That's the exact chair I am sat in typing this - can't recommend it highly enough. No idea about their black friday offers but as it is just around the corner would say it is worth waiting and seeing.

I've only had my Titan for a week and a half and I've never sat in an Omega, but I can't help but think that paying the extra for a Titan would be worth it. The flatter seat profile means I can vary my seating position more (I sometimes fold one leg under the other; I don't think I could do that with the raised sides of the Omega), and I'd definitely miss the adjustable lumbar support.

I was kicking myself when I realised a few days after buying that I probably ought to have waited until the end of the month for a potential sale. A brief googling suggests they've done 30% off in the past.

See one of the reasons I went for a Secret Labs chair is that I suffer from lower back issues. Despite this, I am an absolute twat who will happily sit on one leg as you mention above despite it being horrifically bad for my lumbar spine - exactly where my issues live. For me it was a conscious decision to buy a chair that you sit in 'properly'. That said, I have spent more time sat in this chair over the past 9 months than I would ever have expected and it is so damned comfortable.

Fair enough, I suppose that makes sense. Although now I'm worrying that I might have been damaging my spine for ten years without realising.

Good posture is never a bad thing, as you get older you become more prone to issues like that. In my case though, I have a deformation of one of my lumbar vertebrae (spondylolysis of Pars inter-articularum to be specific) where the inter-articularum - the little protrusions that limit the movement of the vertebra - have not formed on L5. It is fairly common but the result in my case was a prolapsed disc which means a permanent weakening of that disc as well as a predeliction for back pain and leg cramps. If I sit awkwardly I don't always notice until I get up, and then I really feel it, hence buying a chair that encourages good posture when sitting.

Haha was just coming here after seeing the price drops.

Whatever you do, don't look on their site on Friday. I mean, the price might be the same, but it might not...

Either way, you have just bought the best gaming/work chair you have ever owned, welcome to the club!

Chair tuned up today (about 6 weeks from ordering).

Yes it is great. Installing was relatively painless as the instructions were really clear.

No more back pain ;)

I ordered a chair from Staples. Came the following morning.

Not really any relevance. ;)
