handling on Forza games are some of the worst I have played. Nothing like the Dirt series.

EA Play is now part of Game Pass and it's a bit underwhelming to be honest. Great if you like sports titles (there's 25 of them..) and the rest is a smattering of Battlefield, Need for Speed and a few other bits and bobs. I'm sure more titles will be added later but it's all a bit meh.

Seems there's only 89 games added from EA Play according to the bottom of this page?! There's a handful in there I want to try, but it's pretty underwhelming.

I don't think it's fair to say it's shit, it's just a very different style of game and target audience. If you want to do proper rallying, Dirt makes sense. If you want to blat around a track while drinking and chatting shit with mates, Forza's yer man.

Jedi Fallen Order was added as well so that's not so bad.

Halo Infinite has been delayed until Autumn 2021. That's almost an entire year after it was supposed to be a launch title. Oof.
I've no interest in Halo, but if moving the release date back a year allows them to get it right without flogging their staff to death then fair play to them. Other studios would probably crunch for a spring release.

Yeah, I have no horse in that race so it's not a problem for me (and if it does avoid crunch, even better), but it's a little embarrassing for Microsoft that their flagship title for their new console generation has been put back 9 months. It's a good job the hardware team have done an apparently excellent job with things like backwards compatibility, because having literally no new software at launch could have been a killing blow.

Seems like a sensible idea to me, allows them time to get things right.
In other news xCloud is coming to PC and iOS in spring of next year.

So Microsoft announced a new Perfect Dark game last night. It's called "Perfect Dark", because imagination is dead.
I was actually a fairly big fan of the last PD game, the 360 launch title PD:Zero, even though I think critics didn't think much of it at the time. Together with Project Gotham Racing 3, I played it pretty much to death due to the dearth of titles available in the months after launch, but I really enjoyed the weapon variety and the way you selected your loadout prior to a mission.
