That looks excellent. I have absolutely zero interest in playing it as I don't like the originals, but I can appreciate the extra stuff it's bringing to the table.

Looks like an endless runner, which I guess Crash kind of is.

Crash isn't an endless runner at all. It just looks like a normal Crash game with the usual mix of platforming and chase levels.
After the amount of naff microtransaction content they needlessly added into the Crash Team Racing remaster, I'm not holding out an enormous amount of hope for this.

I didn't say it is exactly the same but some of the mechanics are similar. Restricted space, always moving forward, obviously the endless bit doesn't apply.
