Raid and I played it, and while the scope of what they are doing is amazing the levels of jank were beyond olympian
One day, it might be amazing, but it sure ain't there yet!
"Jank" assumes that the product actually works in some way. It doesn't, all of the on-foot stuff was entirely broken, to the point where you couldn't even use the inventory system half the time, and I never managed to complete even one of the simplest of "go here, kill X missions" because there'd always be one NPC spawning beneath the terrain.
I'm unconvinced that Star Citizen will ever be a complete product. Parts of it have been in pre-alpha state for a decade now and still don't work. I was shocked at how unplayable it was. I don't know whether it's fraud or wild scope creep or sheer incompetence. I'm not sure it's a valid point of comparison to Starfield; they're selling the same fantasy (or at least trying to, in both cases), but they barely feel like they're even in the same genre.

Yeah I wasn't really making the comparison, more illustrating how little Starfield made me feel like an intrepid space explorer.
If they fix the camera controls, it's an instabuy for me. I've tried replaying it a few times over the last few years but I found the control schemes so woeful that it wasn't worth it.
Neverwinter Nights 2 'enhanced' edition is out today. I bought it and have now requested a refund, so yeah... it's a bag of balls.
It was crashing upon launch, which was due to an existing NWN2 save folder in My Documents. Once the game does start, there are about 15 intro videos to skip through, which is frustrating. The game itself looks almost indistinguishable from the existing GOG version, but worst of all is that the camera controls are unchanged. Literally nothing done to improve them. This is nothing but a desperate, shameless cash grab for Hasbro, so they can fuck all the way off.

Thanks for the heads up! I was on the fence about it, now I'm off the fence and £25 richer

Because I am never above a cheap laugh;
Represent your love of Fantastic Foreskins in Fortnite Battle Royale!
Expectations still firmly in check, but dare I say it...now that's Battlefield or at vvery least fills me with some confidence of what we can expect. I love me some Rush.
