I did a quick google and see there's a wide screen and HD mod to make the backgrounds look nicer..

I'm playing the Game Pass version so I can't really mod it. I've played a bit more since I recorded the video and sort of enjoyed it, glad that there are cheats I can turn on to bypass the combat sometimes.

Forgot to post my next game so here it is Tekken 3.

Never liked fighting games. Probably because I can never remember the moves and just end up button mashing

I've never been a huge fan but I prefer games with special moves like Street Fighter rather than the 3D fighters.

I remember really enjoying LA Noire up to a point then it just became a pain in the balls to play. Being moved from the Homicide division to Vice then Arson was a bizarre progression path.

The faces looked weird back in the day as well.

I have a soft spot for LA Noire, I've replayed it a few times down the years and, while I hate the story arc for Phelps in terms of gameplay I always enjoy it.

Must admit, that playthrough kinda makes me want to play it. Even with the driving

I think if I had played this back when I bought the game many years ago I might have enjoyed it more but due to my fatigue with open world games I just don't think I could put up with all the pointless driving. Even during that 40 minutes I was incredibly bored, just let me go from place to place on a map or something, the driving is so superfluous.

You can get your partner to drive to most destinations - I forget which button it is, but essentially it works as fast travel so you don't waste time driving around.
