That is a stunning deal that everyone who hasn't played them should jump on.
The original one is a bit so-so, but Hong Kong and particularly Dragonfall are outstanding

Oh and just in case Animalmother is after it after missing out on operation flashpoint, you have 72 hours.

I actually already had Syndicate Plus (not interested in the others), but it did inspire me to reinstall. Damn, it's still just good, solid fun. Obviously showing its age tremendously, but only took me a mission or two to get fully back in the swing of it.

Yeah, I ended up playing the first few levels of Syndicate Wars a few weeks ago, and it's still a solid game. I think I'd happily play a modern remake, because as with everything from that era, the interface is pretty awful by modern standards. I actually bought the spiritual successor Satellite Reign when it was released, but never got around to actually playing it. I really ought to give that a go.

It's (Satellite Reign) actually pretty disappointing. I put maybe a dozen hours into it but never felt motivated to go back and play any more.

My theory about Satellite Reign is that it was a too faithful a recreation of Syndicate Wars, if Syndicate Wars came out today it would be criticised for being shallow and repetitive just like Satellite Reign was. I think that is why we haven't seen more games like that, they need something more added to them in order to make them acceptable to modern audiences.

I'm interested but for some reason 8 quid each is putting me right off.
I doubt I'll play them enough to warrant the outlay.

GOG has more frequent sales than DFS, so it's probably worth waiting for them to drop.
