Things are largely different for me now because of my RA. I am touching 60 and have loads of time, but cannot have long sessions without my hands, especially, cramping up. I tend to stick to Division 2 and whatever other game I currently have installed — AC Odyssey atm. I leave games open and dip in for short sessions depending on how I'm feeling each day. My best recent investment has been my Secretlabs chair; it has made things a hell of a lot more comfortable, as I can adjust the recline to suit the 'mal de jour' perfectly.
Game-playing-wise, I am like Snowy, open-world, live-in games are my fav, and I am quite happy to utilise my ADD and follow my caprice with side missions, wandering, etc. I often have a starting goal of progressing the story, but then get distracted into a certain loot hunt or exploration task, which becomes a great meander, but no worry, and it keeps things fun. The only multiplayer stuff I do these days is running Div2 raids with my clan — taking FTCs through, and helping teach new roles is great fun. Adversarial, as ever, can fuck right off. I just cannot maintain that kind of intense activity before my hands are done.
