Not sure what to make of that, looks interesting though. Edgar Wright has gone a bit iffy with his last few films, for me anyway. Didn't like World's End and I hated Baby Driver.

Half way through that video and whilst I agree with his sentiments there's no solutions given. Just a case of "we're crap!".
Ok, he sort of mentioned creative freedom is stifled by the studios, but again that's not exactly a revelation.
Who is he and what is he going to do to change it?

yeah I agree - he kind of lost his way. Still what he said at the start is interesting. I do not agree that 99% of films are crap, that is a hyperboilic statement. There are lot of very good indie films being made today but if you are looking for decent films in blockbusters, be prepared to be let down....a lot!
