Movie nights?

Post by Lenny Solidus » Wed Jun 22, 2022 5:04 pm

Saw someone mention this a short while back, is this a thing on here? There's no link to discord anywhere either.

I'm not aware of it being a thing that still happens (there may have been a reference to an old Preys-World one), but I'll PM you a link to the forum Discord if you don't have one (not sure if you go by another name on there).

Could be fun if we can organise it

Yeah, I mentioned the PWF Robocop watchalong a little while ago, I'd definitely be up for something similar if we can get it going.

I'm certainly up for it, but the problem has always been getting enough of us together at the same time, and then you have to pick something that everyone both has access to and wants to watch.

I'm generally free on any evening other than tuesday and whichever night we're doing the forum D&D game.

If we use discord then it isn't as much of an issue that everyone has access to a movie as there is a screen streaming feature built in so that only one person needs to actually have it and then they just share their screen. Would make life easier from a sync perspective too as I recall it was a faff trying to make sure everyone was at the exact same point in the movie when we watched them individually.

Yeah, that sounds like a neat solution

Great idea, let's make a go of it sometime soon
