Why wouldn't Claude be in it? He's one of the advisors in this series.
He had a bad cycle accident a while back and nearly lost a leg. I think he's had health problems recently related to it but I think he'll be there for the interview episode which obviously is just sitting down.

He's definitely in the series, like I said he's one of the two advisors who goes out with the candidates and advised Sralan in the boardroom.

He was ill at the start (or doing something else) so didn't do the chaperone thing. I hope he he does do the interviews.
I'll definitely watch it.

Yeah... dropping the lead voice actor, creator and origin of the show's humour and expecting it to continue is about as far-fetched a concept as the show usually deals with.

Anyone understand law here? Does "charged" mean he's just been accused, or found guilty?

And that's the story of why I'm not allowed near pregnant women for the next few weeks.

Well, he's been hit with criminal charges, which at least means prosecutors believe they have enough evidence to take to trial. Not sure when that will take place. It'll be interesting to see what happens if he gets found not guilty, whether Adult Swim will bring him back.

Yeah, arrest under suspicion, charged after interview and review of evidence. This means a formal accusation of criminal activity, which will now be decided on how it will progress.

Stupidly, it does say in that article – I'd opened another one within which didn't have as much context. #-o

Evidently Critical Role: Legend of Vox Machina has proven popular enough for Amazon to greenlight a series based on the group's second D&D campaign; Mighty Nein. There's nothing in the announcement video besides a bit of voiceover as it hasn't entered production yet.

I really wasn't expecting the first show to have mass appeal, but the evidence suggests otherwise.

The regular Critical Role viewership is in the millions (despite it being very much a niche genre), of which I'd imagine a huge proportion watch Legend of Vox Machina, so I'd have thought those viewers alone would warrant further series. I think LoVM has enough charm and general fantasy / comedy appeal to bring in a wider viewership though, if not going mainstream exactly. Yeah, it has moments which only fans of the live shows or ardant D&D players will understand, but I don't think they're frequent or important enough to turn everyone else away.

Very excited for the Mighty Nein series, as that's where I started with CR. As much as I like Vox Machina, the likes of Nott, Caleb and Jester were far richer characters to me.

Building the future, and keeping the past alive - are one and the same thing.
