General TV News
Re: General TV News
Not that I'm complaining, but I'm wondering how he teams up again with Grogu. It's been a while since I watched S2, but doesn't he end up going off with

Re: General TV News
Didn't that take place in Book of Boba Fett? I honestly can't remember clearly, but I thought Mandalorian S2 ended with:

Re: General TV News
Yeah, that was what I thought too. I didn't watch BoBF, which is maybe why I don't remember that part...

Re: General TV News
Hah, I'd entirely forgotten that it happened in the other series. There were two episodes in BoBF that were clearly The Mandalorian episodes, and it's utterly stupid that they put something so significant to the plot of the latter in another series entirely. I suppose that's technically a spoiler then, sorry Alan!
Re: General TV News
Don't worry, I've no intention of watching BoBF so you've just saved me being confused for S3

Re: General TV News
You can safely watch episode 5 of BoBF as I don't think it has more than about a minute or two of plot from that series, and it entirely focuses on Din's entirely separate adventure otherwise. It's as if they didn't have the budget to film it for The Mandalorian so inserted it into BoBF instead. Episode 6 continues that story but features more from BoBF's.
Re: General TV News
Actually, that's good to know. I might do that then. More Mandalorian is always a good thing!Raid wrote: ↑Tue Jan 17, 2023 12:01 pmYou can safely watch episode 5 of BoBF as I don't think it has more than about a minute or two of plot from that series, and it entirely focuses on Din's entirely separate adventure otherwise. Re: General TV News
Apparently this year's season of The Apprentice started three weeks ago and I've entirely failed to notice until I saw a news headline about some tangential part of it.
Has everyone else missed it or have people collectively given up on it?

Saw the first ep last night, I still enjoy it

Re: General TV News
Yeah, I decided to move on the season before last. Actually I may have watched the very first episode of last season but quit straight away. I can't remember now.
I don't really miss it to be honest. I do miss the show as it was in its first 5 or 6 years, but those days are long gone.

Re: General TV News
I've been background watching it this year, which is a nice balance between keeping an eye on the unfolding idiocy and not giving my full attention to Sugar's scripted thigh-slappers.
Re: General TV News
I was out last night but got back to my girlfriend's where she promptly told me she'd already watched The Apprentice and she assumed I wouldn't mind.
She was right.
It's got so bad now.
They edit the footage to make it seem like obvious gaffs have happened when they haven't.
They give them tasks that are impossible or make no business sense (price things before you've seen them type things)
Most of the people on there are celebrity chasers not business makers.
The only bit I enjoy are the interviews where there business ideas get ripped to shreds (reinforcing my point) but with no Claude it won't be so much fun.

Re: General TV News
Why wouldn't Claude be in it? He's one of the advisors in this series.
