Day of the Triffids
A 6 part mini series that originally aired in 1981. I'd have been too young then, but I do remember watching it sometime as a kid. Scared the piss out of me.
Same - it must have been a repeat in the late 80s when I was very young (like 4 or 5), but I remember being scared shitless by the huge walking plants. Why on earth my parents thought it'd be suitable for me I've no idea.

On Call will not be returning for a second season on Prime Video. According to Deadline, the streaming service has canceled that police drama after one season of eight episodes.
The series from Wolf Entertainment will be shopped to other outlets, though, so viewers could see it return to the small screen at some point. Peacock is one possible home for the series.
Eriq La Salle, Lori Loughlin, Rich Ting, Troian Bellisario, and Brandon Larracuente star in the series, which follows the police officers of the Long Beach Police Department. The series focuses on a veteran female training officer (Belisario) and her rookie male ride-along (Larracuente).
Genuinely my favourite show of the year so far, please somebody pick it up.

Classless and tasteless swines!
Finally finished Andor Season 2, the second half definitely made ploughing through the first half worth it lol.
Really makes me want to rewatch Rogue One as well...

Exactly what I did, rewatched season one, then two and Rogue One. Definitely reasserted its place in my mind as easily the best of anything Star Wars after the original trilogy.
Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Just found out the actress that plays Dedra was the voice of Yennefer in Witcher 3, which is pretty cool. I can totally hear it now.
