Played a bit more with the squad enabled. They come in very handy for sync shots like in Badlands. There's now small groups of rebels roaming the countryside who will always start blazing away at enemies causing helicopters to show up and make stealth a pain.
There's also an unlockable airstrike which should come in handy for clearing out some of the Wolves bases that are loaded with drones. Enjoying playing it again.

Re: Ghost Recon: Breakpoint
So this has a had a few big updates of late allowing you to change some of the features in game. You can make the nights darker so that NV goggles have to used, helicopter and drone patrols can be reduced or turned off and Golem Island is now accessible in single player which opens up a huge new area to mess around in. I'll give Ubisoft one thing, they've really given this game some good support and extra features that they normally would have just abandoned in the past.
Since I think Snowy is the only person on here that's played this on a regular basis this probably means feck all to most.

I bought this when it was cheap and only played a short while. I may have to go back in a have a quick look. Can't remember why I stopped playing

Re: Ghost Recon: Breakpoint
I haven't played in a while but those changes all sound good. I just wish I had a co-op buddy for it - single player it's fine but same as Wildlands it is in co-op that it shines.

Re: Ghost Recon: Breakpoint
I've just recently started playing this (pc) and I'm loving it. I've dabbled in some co op with a mate, who hasn't really been on all that much, and I was great fun.
I really like the vibe when roaming around between outposts etc.
Are you still looking for a fellow Ghost, Snowy?

Re: Ghost Recon: Breakpoint
There's some sort of Tomb Raider thing being added to it soon, no idea what that's about. But the Predator (in Wildlands) and Terminator extra missions were pretty good.
Just wish it had cross play

Re: Ghost Recon: Breakpoint
Snowy I'd buy this if only I were able to join you
Edit: I've been in an online clan that won TWL and another online competitive ladder comp (I forget now, it's forever ago!) in MoHAA. My online nick is from playing as an engineer in TFC back in 1999+ (Solitaire player...). Countless hours in ARMA/2 over more than ten years in Shack Tactical, a closed group. But some of my most memorable moments in online gaming was the few times that PW Ghosts got together in GRAW/etc. I'd absolutely love to see us pull something together, even if it's only three or four of us.
I'll need to buy a headset w/mic, which is completely trivial. Let's get something together, guys!

Re: Ghost Recon: Breakpoint
Always happy to do some co-op gaming Todd, it is what I enjoy the most. Get yourself kitted up and happy to do some Breakpoint, also still love Wildlands and play that as often as I can.

Re: Ghost Recon: Breakpoint
Would like to provide a short After Action Report for the reinvented GA Ghosts, consisting presently of Snowy, Raid, and myself. After some minor glitches on my part were ironed out (owing to my measly hotel wi-fi + being in California, most assuredly) and Raid joined in, we had a marvelous escapade in GR-Wildlands as a three-man team. It is funny how the game can be quite tactical, for lengthy periods, but when some odd threshold is crossed it becomes total cartoony mayhem and carnage... Nevertheless, we had a great time of it, was the consensus, and will be hopefully doing this regularly henceforth.
If any other fellas want to join in, please feel free. A full four-man squad would be very fun to be in, as team member or leader.
The Ghosts are back!

Re: Ghost Recon: Breakpoint
I'll second this. We managed full-stealth takedowns on some early missions which always make my tactical heart sing, but also had some full-blown battles.
Cock-up of the night scored by yours truly, who, seeing the convoy we were looking to take down coming up the road towards us decided to land the team helicopter in the middle of the road and rip up their armed escort with the miniguns mounted on the helo. All went swimmingly right up to the point at which I triggered the miniguns only to find that the helo we had stolen was in fact unarmed. Unlike the escort of the convoy, which promptly killed us all.
