They did this with the first demo too. Made it time limited to 30 minutes of play time and only during a 24 hour period on a Sunday. They got a lot of flak for it and have responded by extending the window for this one to a whole week, but still 30 minutes only mind you. Time limited demos are such a silly thing, why limit your own marketing in such a way.
