I'm actually a little surprised it hasn't been pulled from sale yet, I think there's still a chance it will be, then relaunched a few months down the line when it's been (hopefully) largely fixed.

When you don't yet own the game and think yeah this seems pretty bad, but the reality is actually far, far worse...

Addition -

RE4 remake currently has 85k players and a 97.50% positive rating. There really is no excuse for games to launch like this any longer, we know it and the developers and publishers know it too. Don't receive unnecessary backlash, don't become a meme, don't put your well-earned long-standing reputation on the line to coincide with a damn tv show. Don't delay it just to still release it as a car crash.

If it's not cooked enough, DON'T FUCKING SHIP IT.

I'd been wondering why there were so few professional reviews of this up, though I guess the lack of review codes partially explains that. At least they go into some depth on the technical issues and let it affect the final score.

Bit of a bump but I didn't realise Part 2 remastered is out on the PC! Perhaps I've have been a little bit of the loop but I feel there was very little publicity surrounding it's release

Had a quick look at some Steam reviews and they all seem to be high praise. Played on the PS4, it's a phenomenal game but can be mentally exhausting at times. It wants you to suffer.

I'm thinking about picking up them both because I loved them to bits on PS3/4. The combat loop is just excellent on its own even without all the rest. Go on social media though and its apparently the worst game ever.

I'm guessing "woke" gets bandied about a lot there. One of the most socially inclusive games I've ever played without any pandering. Everyone is having the worst time of it.
