They went that way a good while back hence why all the people that made it have gotten out over the years. And why you have Diablo mobile bollocks and Overwatch 2 being simple cash grabs on a failing community. Wow being such a mess now that the players are praying on Shadowlands to return them to a good game. Not going to happen with all the cut backs and really retarded gameplay decisions from all their IP's pushing out players.

Glad I avoided this. I was really looking forward to the huge changes they were planning and also taking it online in ranked with the shiny new textures. As it stands it seems they've stripped ranked mode out for the time being by messing up the servers and I think the new graphics don't look that good at all.

Disappointed that it seems internal support for this fell through and they were forced to release something that didn't achieve anywhere near the scope they had initially planned.

I'd been looking forward to this too, though not with a burning passion. I've never played Warcraft III, and the idea of them retrofitting it with the World of Warcraft (which is where I got the desire to play it) additions to the lore was a great one.
