I did enjoy the unexpected rise of Substitute Jeff and his near-immediate, gruesome demise.

I was going to insist that we call him Geoff rather than Jeff just for ease of differentiation, but I guess that's not really necessary now.

Incidentally, I was using the experience inside the phylactery as a sort of disorientating way to explain the fact that Charr can now grow dragon wings at will. He genuinely believes he's always been able to do it.

Yup yup.

Reckon this looks like a bit of a boring session, what with nothing of any interest happening at the end of the last one *eyes emoji*...

All I'll say is that you went right in for some stabbing before looking through all of the cave... ;)

I blame our lack of scouting on Jeff. Good help is so hard to come by nowadays.

Also good for Thursday.

Well, if nothing else, you’ve now gone in a dungeon and fought dragons. You win D&D!

First big fight we've had in a long time without sustaining even a single KO, I see that as an absolute win.

I confess I thought the adult red dragon would cause more of a ruckus, but I hadn’t fully appreciated that half the party is either immune or resistant to fire...
