Likewise for me.

I really want to get a proper campaign going where any subsequent ones with new characters all follow on in the same timeline in the custom world I created so that by the time the players have played a couple, no matter how short they turned out, it would feel like the world had a history and they were really impacting it; for instance previous heroes could be referenced and such if they accomplished significant enough deeds. Unfortunately scheduling is a nightmare so all we've done so far is a few one shots which have all occurred in pretty isolated areas.
If you ever want to test out some material on us, I'd love the chance to be a player for once! :) In fact I was going to suggest that many months from now when we finish this campaign, maybe someone would fancy running a couple of one shots or a mini adventure before we start a new campaign (assuming that's what we want to do). I expect I'd need a few weeks of prep to get ready for a brand new campaign, so it might be a fun palate cleanser.
I could potentially rustle something up by then. I haven't got any new short campaign material planned at the moment yet though.

I was mentally preparing myself for that to happen and rolling a new character, but I still really regret doing that.

In the interest of not being an arse of a DM (and since I drew the card), I’m prepared to interpret the details of the card such that finding and rescuing Sage could become a mini-adventure if you want, rather than just saying you’re lost to the multiverse for now.

That would be nice at some point as I had plans for him which I've not really tried before. #-o

My backup is ready to go at least! Good timing to introduce him too given the current events.

As long as it doesn't cost 25k gp... ¬_¬

I don't suppose Mantis is rerolling a lawyer character this time?

We could recruit Mantis' new character en route to rescuing his old one (assuming that is a thing me and Raid decide we want to do ), then could always park one or t'other back at the mansion with Gainsborough II?

He'd likely find his way to the mansion to find allies against the dragons so it won't be hard to introduce him.

I've got archmage robes to pick out. Archmage. Robes.

And maybe a cool hat.
