Ehh, I dunno. Trump's the current figurehead of the cult, but I can't help but think that any other right-wing nutjob would be praised by those people if they were told to do so by their media outlet of choice. You're right in that there's just no deductive reasoning on display, you can see the cogs get jammed in their brain when the reporter challenges something they just said, and they can't come up with a response because they've just been repeating some conspiracy theory the media sold them. Watch as one guy changes the subject from Joe Biden being a rapist when the reporter brings up a larger number of allegations for the same crime directed at Trump (which he's all but admitted!).

Not sure why, but this courtroom drawing of Trump hit my funny bone. Maybe it's the Edvard Munch vibes.

A positive turnout for Democrats last night including the enshrining of abortion rights, which bodes well leading into 2024. These bullshit polls many media sites try to push as legitimate don't stand up when it comes to actual turnout, and it's high time they were ignored. Losses for Trump endorsed candidates specifically is always a welcome W because fuck that criminal rapist fuckhead.

Time to put the movement that is MAGA and the Republicans who embraced Trumpism in the place that they themselves have built in 2024, that being a deep dark hole.

Yep, mighty night for Democrats, and as usual the media is "here's how that's bad for Biden". Ohio got the kick in the teeth it needs, and the VA House of Delegates has been turned blue.

Andy Beshear's (KY) campaign ad was short but right to the point:

Care to remember that this was first brought about by a group of both Republicans and Independents, not Dems. But obviously true hard facts matter not to these extremist right wing dickweeds once again calling for Civil War after this news came to be. I can genuinely see Scotus sitting this one out and allowing the State to have final say, unless Gini Thomas attempts to get involved to sway things with Corrupt Clarence himself in an effort to counter it somehow. I don't see it happening.

If indeed any more States now follow suit it would only take maybe three or four more at a guess and it's game over. How did you even come to this America? If the rule of law as set in the very constitution means fuck all at the highest point in the land your experiment has failed and failed magnificently and all thanks to a literal bloody con man dubbed Orange Jesus.

I think Florida and Texas could be ones to watch, as they’re two of the Big Four electoral college states (the other two being New York and California, but they haven’t voted Republican since the 80s). If either of those ban him from running, he’s toast.

If either do I'll eat Werner Herzog's shoe.

About as likely as either of those states banning guns.

I wonder, if the decision isn't overturned, does this factor in to whether the Republicans actually choose Trump as their candidate? Is there even anyone else in the running at this point? I haven't paid that much attention to it, because maybe if I ignore him he'll go away.

Texas, sure, but bear in mind that Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida is a Republican presidential candidate. He has a vested interest in taking Trump off the ballot.
