Advanced Hero Quest: Quest I: The Halfling Cook - Completed
Hello chaps,
Welcome to the Gamer's Arms Advanced Hero Quest session.
I need four players to sit around our table in this candlelit corner of our beloved pub. Preferably players who are "around" all the time. You know who you are. ¬_¬
I shall be your Dungeon Master, as it were. You will be going on a quest that I shall reveal once you've signed up.
You may choose whether you wish to be Elf, Dwarf or Human, and you may choose whether you wish to be a Warrior or a Wizard. Yes, you can even be a Dwarf Wizard (welcome to 1989).
Sign your names in blood here and then we'll take care of your profiles...

Re: Advanced Hero Quest [Session I]
Count me in. Dwarf Warrior, please, Mr DM.
Re: Advanced Hero Quest [Session I]
I'm in. Human Warrior please!
Re: Advanced Hero Quest [Session I]
Sure, I'll take part. I might as well go for an elf warrior then.
God, I can barely remember any of the rules and this was my favourite boardgame of my youth...
EDIT: I'm more than willing to step aside after the first game if somebody misses out this time round. We could even share the same character if it's going to be a campaign..

Re: Advanced Hero Quest [Session I]
Actually, someone should take my place. I may struggle to check on the place and post during work days outside of lunch hours or tea breaks and I don't want to slow things down.
Re: Advanced Hero Quest [Session I]
I'll play, Human Wizard please Doug

Re: Advanced Hero Quest [Session I]
Unless, is there any benefit to being an Elf Wizard vs Human?

Alright, but just as long as my sporadic work day post times don't slow things down. ¬_¬

Re: Advanced Hero Quest [Session I]
Elves make better Wizards than humans, I hear. But, you already signed up as a human. ¬_¬
It's a sort of "always rolling, whenever works for you" sort of affair. No need to sit down at your PC for it for a session.

Ah okay. Might be a good thing actually. That Dark Castle playthrough perhaps got a bit too intense with the posting speed at times.Stormbringer wrote: ↑Wed Aug 15, 2018 9:51 am

I plead ignorance! I haven't played this before...Stormbringer wrote: ↑Wed Aug 15, 2018 9:51 am

Re: Advanced Hero Quest [Session I]
Surely we all have work in some shape or form anyway, so the expectation that you'll be available at all hours to immediately take your turn isn't really that pressing.
It depends how ruthless Doug is. -_-

Then I'll be the odd one out and be a dwarf wizard (beards innit...)Stormbringer wrote: ↑Wed Aug 15, 2018 9:51 amIt's a sort of "always rolling, whenever works for you" sort of affair. No need to sit down at your PC for it for a session.
Assuming I'm not woefully late as per usual.
And if I am, I'll enjoy watching you all flail about as is the norm for these things
