I just took the bins out, the entire street is in darkness. All the neighbours have self-induced cutting back every possible light.

My bill hasn't changed yet, but they have asked for a meter reading.

My time has come. 😢

So, genuinely, when does the cost of living make people start rioting? This just isn't going to be sustainable.

Anyone taking part in the big switch off? Nationwide at 10pm tonight, people are asked to turn their electric off for 10 minutes as a protest. It had good results in Spain.

Isn't the spike of everyone turning everything back on at the same time going to be worse than just leaving everything ticking over? Or cause a surge that could cause issues?

I honestly don't know, I'm no electricatician.
