Doctors have a lot more patience for stupidity than I would do in the same circumstances. In his place I'd say 'if you want to kill him by taking him away, be my guest. We can use the bed for someone less fortunate than him'.

I suppose it comes under "do no harm"; by releasing a patient with fairly severe sounding coronavirus symptoms into the care of people that think vitamin tablets are a suitable treatment, you're creating a pocket of infection that could well kill the family, their friends, their neighbours and anyone else they come into contact with. I'd be the same though; there's just no arguing with stupidity of that magnitude, and I don't have the patience to try.

Holy shit the stupidity of people is just staggering. "It was declassified in 2020...this is a legal paper...treat covid with vitamin C, D, zinc and anuvver one what I forgot..."

"He was knighted by the Queen in July.
In December, he went on a family holiday in Barbados after British Airways paid for his flight."

Yeah, I know he's old and all but the family should be held to the same standards as everyone else - and not go on a potential spreading rampage in the Caribbean.

Well, a lot of people are still being forced to go to work.
Supermarkets may have given up policing the distancing rules a long time ago but there still very much is a lockdown. I'm desperate to go to some gigs and go have a few social drinks at the pub.

Go to Tesco an hour before they close, it is a lot quieter. But yeah, lockdown light for the past few months, the traffic outside my place hasn't really been any less other than after about 8pm.
Everything on the internet is 100% true.
