It feels appropriate to be finishing this today, the day of the (presumed) last session, given that I started learning to draw at about the same time as I started playing this character, but this is how I've been imagining Arctiss:
He's pretty drab when it comes to outfit choices - no need to spend money on fancy-looking armour when you're a lone dungeon diver after all. Part of the reason he's so tall is that I thought it'd be fun if Dragonborn retained the dragon-esque long neck (he's craning his head forward and to the side to aim here), which necessitated the high-collared pauldrons for better protection. I went with an archer's pose because it's what he's most comfortable with; he'd normally have only used a sword defensively until he picked up the Blade of Stryrox, which compels him to close the distance somewhat.
This is literally the very first fully-rendered humanoid character I've ever drawn so it probably looks awkward as hell. Could I have gone with a more neutral pose and a character that I didn't have to invent some of the anatomy for? Sure, but that would have been
boring.
