Suddenly, three blood-drenched skeletons, summoned from a forgotten dimension, emerge on the walkway outside of the castle door! Utter chaos is about to ensue.

But just before that...

Rapid footsteps come pounding up the hallway.

THUMP-THUMP-THUMP-THUMP

Everyone turns in bewilderment to see a naked Fechr, having discarded all his clothes, armour and weapons, charging down the corridor toward the doorway.

He lets out a bestial roar, pushes Margar and GDTS aside and grabs the undead in the doorway with both arms. He then goes tumbling off the walkway, taking the undead with him, and plummets downward amidst the falling snow into the valley, far below.


[I rolled on a table for Fechr's death: it said "You are smashed so violently that only a brown, stinking paste remains." This is what happens when he reaches the bottom.]

THEN...

Another sword-wielding undead emerges in the doorway! It makes a stab at Lord Margar!

Ironically a brown stinking paste is what Fechr scrawled his last will and testament in, divvying up his meagre possessions. Your chance to ask him whether it was excrement or not has now, sadly and much like Fechr himself, passed.

I'm sure Giant Dances the Sea will put a finger in it and taste it to find out.

I cry out melodramatically in anguish to the night air, while attempting to dodge:

Margar successfully parries a sword-thrust and may retaliate!


MEANWHILE, on the walkway, one of the blood-drenched skeletons GDTS summoned strikes at one of the undead warriors thereon, slashing it with a shortsword. None of the PCs see this, because the remainder of them are still in the internal corridor.

Only a 1 on the d6 though.

Margar's Staff makes a scratch on the undead, but the creature is still surprised by the impact and Margar may make another attempt!


Meanwhile, the fight between GDTS's blood-drenched skeleton and the other undead on the walkway continues.
