You could always move one step up. Enemies can't move through death zones, if memory serves.
Ah! Good to know. I'd do that then.

It would still be good to know those things about my spells when Doug's on next. Friendly fire seems to be a thing, which is a shame.

So what are we actually doing? Given Gibby's last post, I'm slightly concerned that he's about to charge headlong into the toughest Orc in the room on his own. -_-

Sensible option is to guard the door with me and Terence each hopping one tile north and giving you some time to catch up, I think.

The Fireball template is 3 x 3 squares. It does 5 Damage Dice to anyone caught within that zone. It has a range of 12 squares from the caster.

Dragon Armour lasts until the Combat is over.

Cool, had kind of assumed those but good to have it confirmed.

Uh... one last question if I may, what are the LoS rules on the fireball? Can it travel through allies and/or enemies, or does it basically detonate on the first target it hits?

I forget - can you cast a spell then move? If so, I could move one step north and let Paulox send the fireball through the door hitting those orcs then step away...

Oh, the fireball doesn't fire out of your hand and travel along burning all in its path; it works more like a grenade. You choose a target you can see within 12 spaces and it explodes outward from that point.

Walls, doors, enemies and even friends block your line of sight to the target, unless your friends are standing directly in front of you, in which case you can fire over their shoulder.

Wizards can spellcast then move, or move then spellcast.

Ok, thanks, that's cleared up a few things.

I fully expect to forget everything and blow all my companions to smithereens in about two turns

So is anyone actually going to... y'know, do something? ¬_¬

Aren't we waiting for Gibby?

Me, Terence and Bellis have all said what we'll do on our turn...

I was literally just asking whose turn it was. ¬_¬

I will move to the nearest Orc and attack it, if it's my go. Unless we're trying to draw them to us in which case I'll er... wait at the door?

Probably the more sensible option given we're a mad down currently.

Sly, do you want to use your fireball on those 2 orcs? If not shall we just do our plan of moving one step upwards? All that's left then is for Bellis to say where he wants to move to.

I've only got the one so I was thinking of waiting either until there's more of them together or until I can lob it at the more powerful enemies in the room (boss and bodyguards). So, yeah, let's both move up a square and hold the fort until Mantis catches us up.

So it's agreed; we all hold the door.
