Thanks folks - not a milestone I particularly looked forward to this one Spent a nice day with family and then with friends, ate and drank too much but not enough that today is a write-off - possibly a little wisdom in my old age? Plans were originally to spend my 50th in NYC with my wife and another couple we are good friends with, but Covid put the kybosh on that. We will do that once the world becomes a bit more normal.

Got some nice goodies though, booze, clothes and some horror film collectible figures but best of all a genuine axe-head pendant from the 10th century from my wife. I might be feeling a bit old but a thousand-year-old gift puts it in perspective

The big five oh eh? Congrats. I was meant to be in New Zealand for mine (and my girlfriend who is only 8 days younger than me) but, like you, "all this happened" and we cancelled.

It was my other half's 40th last year and we did a long tour in the far east that ran through mid March to early April and we have oftne remarked how lucky we were it was last year.
