Can the Doc open a door or window somewhere so we don't have to run the acid gauntlet?

I have just had it from the horse's mouth that I was wrong; I misread the rules!
You're actually at -2 HP, Doc. That acid burned right into your flesh!
But you're still alive, and that's the miracle.

Cool.
Well, now that I'm here, could I snaffle an unbroken bottle of acid?

You could choose a different entrance yourself without needing the Doc's help. There's the kitchen (with a bear), the sitting room (break a window or climb up and into the chimney), the main entrance round the front (fire damaged), or you can explore the conservatory on the eastern side of the building and see what's what there.Animalmother wrote: ↑Thu Jun 12, 2025 11:30 amCan the Doc open a door or window somewhere so we don't have to run the acid gauntlet?

I was going to have a smoke, but probably will wait until I'm not in a room surrounded by dangerous chemicals

Rather than continue to plough further into the room, after looting a bottle I'll make my way back out the way I came.

Cool. Everyone's outside again, on the north side (rear) of the house.
Doc, are you going to take a rest and a smoke?

All right, roll me a d4+1 for your rest and recover that much HP.
Then roll me 2d6 to see what happens during the rest-time.

I don't typically reveal the HP of NPCs!
Nor atypically neither!
One last roll before the narrative resumes: somebody give me d6+1.
