Before Doc does that, the entire Redrum gang whips out their sawn-off shotguns and opens fire on the Bean Bunch!

No Luck tests here; no chance of any of the Redrum Boys missing with sawed-offs at this range; just pure bare-knuckle endurance!

Everyone in the group rolls 2d4 for damage, subtracting -1 if you have armour and -2 if you have both armour and a thick coat, but CK will take most of the hits owing to him being the nearest target, so he will need to roll 2d4 FOUR TIMES!

Also, you do have an Ace if you want to give this another shot...but perhaps you'd prefer to save it for a Death Check or a Grit test something?

All right, somebody roll me a d6 to see who gets to move first. Normally I do this myself when you meet a hostile, but this scene is too tense for me to bear the consequences myself!

The Bean Bunch follows Cadaver Kid up the stairs, unmolested by the Redrum Boys.

Last time you were here, you only burgled the downstairs floor before you were spotted by a servant, so this is all unfamiliar territory.

At the top, there's a door on the right (east side of the house), and a hallway heading left (toward the west side).

There's another door at the far end of this hall and another door half way along the hall, in its southern wall.
