Re: The Room 101 thread - for things you hate or just having a bloody good moan
Our little dachshund just turned three a couple of days ago, and I'm already preemptively bereft thinking about what it will be like when he's no longer around :( Assuming he stays healthy he'll be around at least another 10+ years mate. Small dogs live much longer. It's only after they're gone you...

The dog died yesterday and I'm absolutely gutted. I keep walking into the kitchen and expect to see him or hear him giving hell to the neighbors dog outside. Treasure your doggies guys as they won't be around forever

Re: General Gaming News
Anyone else not able to open the Mods section today? Just says "operation could not be completed". Mods I have already installed are still working though.

Re: General Gaming News
Microsoft's "hands off" approach to the game studios they own is bizarre. This is how we get utter shit like Redfall, dull old shit like Starfield and buggy shit like Fallout. Maybe setting quality standards to studio heads would be a good start. Also allowing a TV studio make a show of your flagshi...

Re: General Gaming News
Coincidentally, my dad has been playing it on Xbox at the same time. He’s just gone to one of the new locations only to find that it’s missing a bunch of textures, with giant red exclamation marks in their place. Have come across this. There's some new weapons available where the model doesn't rend...

Re: General Gaming News
I tried 76 about a year or so ago, gave up after a few hours as it was shite. Doubt that's changed. Apparently the update was ready to come out last year but they delayed it until the release of the TV show. Did they just sit on it for a year without using that time to refine it? It's Bethesda, stup...

Re: I Just Watched (Films)
Late Night With the Devil Interesting horror film set during a late night talk show during the 1970's. It's found footage but not at the same time, during the ad breaks it switches to a normal film and back to the TV cameras when on air. The host is trying to save a failing talk show so they decide...

Re: General Gaming News
The Fallout 4 Next Gen update is out and it's honestly a bit underwhelming. I'm playing on Xbox so it still looks like a 10 year old game but runs a bit smoother. A lot of the mods have stopped working so you're back to the shitty cluttered settlements and lackluster weapons. It's probably best to l...

Re: Good TV (aka, the TV series spamthread), the second series
I assumed they were mostly CGI with static models people could get in and out off, that's pretty cool.
Another excellent show previously mentioned, Shogun is coming to the end of its run next week. Top quality throughout and again just not enough episodes. I assume there will be a 2nd season.

Re: Good TV (aka, the TV series spamthread), the second series
I can still remember most of the names of the people from BoB and what they looked like and that came out in 2001. It helped that I've watched it a few times and many of the actors went on to be very well known faces on TV afterwards. Tom Hardy, Michael Fassbender and Simon Pegg had small parts and ...
