Re: Good TV (aka, the TV series spamthread), the second series

Cobra Kai This is great, why haven't I watched it until now?! :o It's a great example, for me, of why you should try things out your comfort zone every once in a while. I went into it thinking it was a comedy about typecast actors (ie. Ralph Maccio and William Zabka struggle to get acting work and ...

Re: The Covid-19 Thread

Had my booster today. From getting out of the car to back in was probably five minutes. Incredibly efficient.

Re: Currently Playing

Been playing Two Point Hospital over the last week or so. Appreciate it's fairly old now, but it's great what they've done with an old classic. Really enjoying it so far.

Think the difficulty curve is fairly mild too.

Re: The Covid-19 Thread

Presumably like half the forum, I've been afflicted with that bleedin' corona over the last week. Almost certainly caught at the semi final of the Euros. Took a test Monday, positive. Second test, positive. Planned to book a PCR the following morning. Woke up, all smell and taste gone. Didn't even b...

Re: The Room 101 thread - for things you hate or just having a bloody good moan

In an ideal world I want full custody of the kids, on account of her being devoid of empathy (as in - she really doesn't have any) but this ain't an ideal world. So long as we can 50/50 it, fine. It's all good. Turns out 'the one that got away' felt the same about me, and she's just been through a ...

Re: The Room 101 thread - for things you hate or just having a bloody good moan

Cheers! It has been a painful few months, but thus far I have acted in a manner beyond reproach. TL;DR - my solicitor is very experienced in these cases (with such individuals as my soon to be ex). I have an extremely strong case, though I'd honestly rather just be amicable and sort things that way...

Divorcing an individual on the psychopathy spectrum / kids involved.

Gentlemen, I cannot even.
Good luck mate. No winners there (in the short term anyway).

Re: The Covid-19 Thread

For what its worth I had the Pfizer and the second was no worse than the first for me. Sore arm for a few days nothing really beyond that. I actually found the flu jab worse last year. Its different for everyone of course. Hope you're all feeling better soon. Yeah sorry, I do appreciate that me whi...

Re: The Covid-19 Thread

So it turned out when I rang up and searched my NHS number, because of me heart condition I had when I was a child (that I feel has no impact on my everyday life) I was considered both at risk and at the front of the queue (ish) for the vaccine and had 'already missed one appointment/call to arms'....

Re: The 'Look What the Postman Brought Me' Thread - Technology Edition

Nope. The mousemat was not plugged in in that photo. It's a Corsair MM800C ; it's just a hard mouse pad with RGB lighting around the outside. It's a stupid thing I bought several years back when I found one dirt cheap. I have since replaced it with a giant mouse pad because I remembered that I hate...

Re: The 'Look What the Postman Brought Me' Thread - Technology Edition

https://i.imgur.com/iGDOmDy.jpg So I thought it was time for some new desk peripherals. I mentioned in another thread that I'd fallen out a bit with my Corsair K65 tenkeyless keyboard; I wanted a numpad, and the thick cable both looked awful and really got in the way when I was using midi periphera...

Some might think it's fast and loose with celeb but in terms of reality TV, she's probably been one of the more influential people, especially in the twitter, Vine, short-clip era.

Eating disorders are fucking horrible.

Re: The Room 101 thread - for things you hate or just having a bloody good moan

Am I odd for having zero interest in doing Zoom calls with friends and family? I've only done it the once and hated the experience of it. Think it might be the needless video bit, I know what they all look like. Maybe I'm just antisocial :-k I don't like it but for a fairly shit reason. I spend all...

Six.

Any lower than seven should warrant a ban. Appalling effort.
