Re: Epic Game Store - Epic's Steam Competitor
And art of Rally is on Epic, so you can pick that up for only ~£7. A bargain!

In the UK? Nowhere that I know of, sadly.

Re: Good TV (aka, the TV series spamthread), the second series
I've started (and now finished) watching Letterkenny (a fictional Canadian town named by the fictional immigrants from Ireland), thanks to a friend recommending it. This is the cold open from the first episode, which I think brilliantly sets the tone: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9rSBmOgpcDE Grea...

Re: Time for a PC Upgrade
Heard third-hand from a couple of places that got stock. One place received literally four cards, and the other got 25. People had been queueing from 06:00 to get those 25.

Re: Apple TV +
Family Sharing is first-come – the whole amount is shared between everyone. --- Pretty sure Spotify were being dicks about supporting it, in order to try to force Apple to let them do payment bullshit, like what Epic are trying to do. There's no reason they couldn't support a watch-only mode, they j...

Re: Currently Playing
Completely forgot about [Among Us]. Did anyone else buy it? I got it last night as one of my friends was playing it online, got a bit of a crash course, and crash is a particularly choice word since the UX is an absolute car crash. The controls are bad, the UI inscrutable (the voting phase is the w...

Re: Apple TV +
Pretty tempted by the watch tbh. I've got a Series 3 at the minute and it's fine , but rather slow at performing Siri commands which is really irritating. Not sure I'm prepared to lay down so much cash though. The subscription thing I'm definitely interested in. We already have the family Apple Musi...

Re: Time for a PC Upgrade
I'm surprised by the noise comments – when I moved to an AIO I definitely noticed it was quieter, but that was on my previous build many years back, so perhaps air coolers have gotten so massive now they can use the same slow-turning huge fans? I'm on my second AIO-cooled build now and not had a sin...

Re: The Room 101 thread - for things you hate or just having a bloody good moan
I would like to build an app that tracks when a phone app is in active use and then restrict you from using it for a set time. Like only being able to use Facebook every hour. If you're on iOS, that's built-in since iOS 12 and called "Screen Time" . If you're on Android, it's available as of Androi...

Re: The F1 thread
I'd much rather see other drivers go than Perez! Grosjean immediately comes to mind. Alonso and Raikkonen should probably retire rather than taking seats that up-and-coming drivers could have instead, too.

Re: The F1 thread
I guess? Vettel just strikes me as a man who's had enough. 4-time WDC, recently had another kid... I'd want to stay at home! I mean, I'd forgotten that Alonso is coming back to drive for Renault of all teams. Raikkonen seems like he just loves driving, regardless how shit the car is. So long as he g...

"Go to bars! Go to Pret! The high streets need you, here take 50% off 3 days a week! What's that? The younger demo are taking up our offer in droves?"
(Cases increase in said demographic)
"Well what the bloody hell have you gone and done that for?! Pish posh!"

Re: The F1 thread
Huh. However the arrival of four-times world champion Sebastian Vettel on the driver market for next year prompted speculation [Tracing Point] would try to make room for the Ferrari driver in its line-up. As the team’s other car is driven by Lance Stroll, the son of co-owner Lawrence Stroll, doubt h...

Re: Xbox & Microsoft News/Discussion
I've lost track of all these rebrandings. EA Play is the same as their old Origin Access subscription right? Start getting more from the games you love. We’ve got some big news, starting today EA’s two game membership services – EA Access and Origin Access – are now EA Play*, and Origin Access Prem...
