Cheers Alan. The DJ was seriously praising us after he played it so we're all super hyped. One of the last tracks of the evening for those interested.

Re: \m/ Metal \m/
So I submitted our track to BBC Introducing when it released and they liked it enough to feature us!
We're being played on BBC Music Introducing on the radio tonight between 9 and 10pm across all the East Midlands radio channels. Pretty chuffed about that!

Yeah feel free to share it wherever you like. We're trying to get as many listeners as possible to build our profile and make it a bit easier to get more gigs.

Re: \m/ Metal \m/
Thanks, Chris! That's pretty damned good mate, you must be happy with that. Cheers, Ian. Yeah we're very happy with our studio choice. There was a bit of back and forth to refine the final mix with small details here and there but even the very first mix he presented us with sounded great. It's gett...

All of his movies have the same kind of whimsical charm and humour to them on top of having very unique cinematography. He's a great director.

Honestly I'm tempted to lock it.
The fact that one of the only threads that ever gets any attention or discussion is one dedicated to people dying gives the whole forum a rather drab atmosphere.

So as alluded to in the art thread the other day, my band's first single came out today. Links to Spotify, Apple and a couple of others are on our Linktree for those interested. https://linktr.ee/firmamentuk It's quite riff driven, twin lead guitar, melodic metal a bit in the style of Iron Maiden bu...

Re: Arty Antics and Similar Stuff
So the first single for my band is coming out tomorrow and the guys asked me to do the artwork for it based off an Instagram post I made with a collage of my recent Inktober efforts. It was pretty nice to have a reason to push a project to a higher rendered, finished state compared to my usual sketc...

Re: The Room 101 thread - for things you hate or just having a bloody good moan
I had the same doubts myself about the paid content. I imagine they could simply say you never bought rights to the item and that if you read your terms of purchase you were simply buying a licence to view it which they retain the right to alter or revoke at any time. I'm sure they'd be fine if they...

Re: Forum Bugs and Errors Reporting Thread
I've been informed there will be server maintenance at midnight tonight for a short period. Hopefully that will address these issues as they only seem to have gotten worse over the last few days.

Re: Starfield has a release date
They're going to have to make the jump sooner or later. It's only going to get worse for them for future releases if they offer up subpar games that are massively surpassed by other titles that take advantage of more modern engines. Unreal is a pretty big industry standard. I'm sure it wouldn't take...

Re: Starfield has a release date
We know game development is hard and my sympathies go out to the devs and passionate people on the teams who are often overworked and underpaid for their talents, but his Tweets seem to suggest that you should avoid harsh criticism of something because it might hurt the feelings of the team behind i...
