Re: VR!

Lovely little game. Snowy and I played a round earlier. I've bought the handful of courses that are on sale individually. 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Upside Town and Shangri-La are only 79p each right now. Just to echo this, a really nice little game. A lot of fun to play as a co-op experience, R...

Re: Trump: Impeach is the new Orange

Yeah but worryingly that cuts both ways. If they don't nail down Trumpy soon there is a risk that he could get back into power. If that were to happen, I can't help but think it would be disastrous for both the US and the rest of the world.

Re: VR!

I did indeed get Asgards Wrath 2 - I have redeemed it but not installed or tried it yet. Funnily enough I saw an advert on TV for the Quest last night with some footage of the game and it looked really good, so will be having a dabble at some stage. So far I have been playing Alyx, Beat Sabre, the n...

Re: VR!

Some Amazon vouchers for my 10 years anniversary at my company got my wallet prised open and I now also have a Quest 3 - what a piece of kit. And yes, Half Life Alyx is bloody incredible.

Avatar - Frontiers of Pandora

After a fine delivered curry and a few glasses of wine the other night, I was feeling quite mellow and looking at my Xmas holiday stretching off ahead, and decided to get a cheap CD key for the new Avatar game. I had liked the idea of playing as a Na'vi in that world from the outset, and while the r...

Re: Good TV (aka, the TV series spamthread), the second series

Just watched "the bag"😂 "you need help mate". Ray just has the best lines. He delivers them so deadpan, but always says exactly what the viewer is thinking  Mr in-between was fab. He is really unlucky in life. If anything can happen it will. Pleased to have recommended it. A mate suggested it ...

Re: TGA Ghosts - co-op goodness for all

I will continue to hold out hope for the new TDU title, although it now has to beat the Forza series. Also, I wish they hadn't used that pug-ugly new bloody Corvette in the video

How they overcame the urge to hoof her into the harbour - well they have more self control than I would have done!

Re: The gig thread

Went to see Lindemann for the second time last night at Wembley arena. Hopefully this time seeing the band won't herald 2 years of lockdown (they were the last gig I saw days before lockdown came into force back in 2020)! Well - while a lot of the onstage antics were the same as the first time, this...

Re: General Gaming News

I did enjoy Primal, it was a brave departure from the usual guns'n'goons Far Cry experience. I am interested to play this, I have been waiting on seeing the reviews drop as I felt it could be something special, but it sounds like I would have to hunt out enjoyment from it. For me, RDR2 is the marker...

Re: Moving Pictures

I doubt it will ever see the light of day here, simply because it seems designed to slice pedestrians into their component parts and will fail all the EU safety checks. No bad thing, it is fugly beyond belief. Amazing that they managed to turn the insane demands of Elton Spunk into a reality, but ho...

Awww I thought we were getting a new Ghost Recon title for a moment there.

Does look nice though.
